AT THE MOVIES with Michele Brock Online Radio | BlogTalkRadio
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/atthemovies

How many times have you heard a review of a movie by an acclaimed critic only to think just the opposite of that review? How many times have you seen a movie and/or actor, director...etc. win an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, NAACP Image Award...etc, only to believe strongly that another movie and/or actor should have won? Well, I thought that it would be fun to create a BlogTalkRadio show where I could publicly provide my own commentary of my time AT THE MOVIES. Anyone whose interested can feel free to join me on the show to discuss things like the quality of a movie, if they agreed on casting for the movie, was the movie believable or realistic, was it an interesting and/or necessary storyline, in other words, was it a story that needed to be told or was it quite simply just entertaining, and the list of what can be discussed is endless. We can even decide on what movie to go see, by what date, so that we can meet here to talk about it! So, if you have a love for this industry and love dissecting movies and evaluating them, as much as I do, then please, join me here and let's talk about our time AT THE MOVIES!

Dreams of a Life

I don't want to die, let alone die alone. This story is absolutely heartbreaking.

When first reading this story, my inner self screamed, "HOW COULD SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN?" Then, I began to look at my own life and my relatively small circles and even smaller relationships and answered my own question, "VERY EASILY!"

That FACT is brutally apparent as found in the case of Joyce Vincent. This is something that I have come to fear.

"Audacity" (55-min. MP4)

From Living Waters, creators of the award-winning TV program “The Way of the Master” and the hit movies “180” and “Evolution vs. God,” comes the powerful film “Audacity.” Executive produced by TV co-host and best-selling author Ray Comfort (Hell’s Best Kept Secret, Scientific Facts in the Bible), this film delivers an unexpected, eye-opening look at the controversial topic of homosexuality.

Peter (Travis Owens) is an aspiring comedian encouraged by his friend Ben (Ben Price, Australia’s Got Talent finalist) to perform at the local comedy club. But stage fright isn’t Peter’s only fear. When confronted with one of today’s most divisive issues, he feels compelled to speak, but can he? Challenged by his coworker Diana (Molly Ritter) to defend his convictions about homosexuality and gay marriage, will he have the courage to stand for what he believes—even at the risk of losing a friendship? And how will he respond when faced with a harrowing life-or-death experience?

“Audacity” uses a unique approach to address a very sensitive subject in contemporary society. Regardless of your views on homosexuality, you’ll gain fresh insights and a new perspective.

This Is Our Time : The EAV Connection

For me, this was a movie about how to deal with the death of a loved one, how to give GOD the glory in the midst of losing someone near and dear to your heart, and how to choose to CELEBRATE their life.

"GOD'S calling isn't to do something, but, to be something, to be obedient. Find the fulfillment in GOD'S desires in our character, not our works."

Meant to Be

This one SUCKER PUNCHED me! Caught me COMPLETELY off guard. It provided some explanation to my random bouts of depression, crying uncontrollably out the clear blue sky and at the drop of a hat. It's a film about GOD'S PERFECT LOVE and it confirms one of my previous posts about the fact that it simply does not matter how, when, and where a person is conceived, they are because GOD willed them to be and they have a PURPOSE and a DESTINY! GOD DOESN'T MAKE MISTAKES!

A Greater Yes: The Story of Amy Newhouse

Watched this FAITH BASED film on Netflix, a while ago. It's based on a true story about a high school student name, Amy Newhouse.

This story is testimony that we each have a PURPOSE according to GOD'S will. It also brought to my mind the following scripture:

Isaiah 55:8-9
King James Version (KJV)

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Truly, we should be wise in choosing HOW we pray and WHAT we pray for. In ALL things, we should be praying GOD'S WILL and peace and understanding no matter what HIS will is. The title of this film is on the mark in that with GOD, HIS answers to us are ALWAYS A GREATER YES! The outcome may not always be what we envisioned, but, because we serve a GOD who is in complete control, HIS outcome is ALWAYS BEST!

A Greater Yes: The Story of Amy Newhouse (2009)

After climbing Pampa High School's popularity chain, taking her volleyball team to the State championship, and founding the school first drug, alcohol, and violence-free club, Amy Newhouse must now fight the biggest battle of her life - cancer.

Her open heart to the people of her school now sparks a passionate rally from the community. However, this passion dwindles as her cancer metastasizes. Her cancer seems to miraculously disappear, but just as it seems the community has prevailed and the battle won, Amy discovers that the deadly disease has returned and is incurable.

Amy's prayers for healing continue, but with the seemingly dried-up support of her community, and an apparent no from God, she dies from the one battle she cannot win. However, with her death comes life and redemption of Pampa High, as her club grows exponentially, redeeming the school of the once-rampant violence, drugs, and alcohol that she so passionately fought against, and proving to all doubters that God has a "Greater Yes" after all.

Mysterious Ways

The script isn't as tight as it could have been, DEFINITELY NOT the quality of films by Mark Harris and Christopher Nolen II, and there is no real soundtrack to speak of, but, the solid ground on which this film stands is its' successful delivery of GOD'S MESSAGE of Faith in HIM and Forgiving others and for that, I highly recommend this movie. The Writer, the Director, and the two main characters, Marilyn and Mozart, succeeded in getting GOD'S MESSAGE across, clearly and distinctly.

Ephesians 4:31-32
King James Version (KJV)

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Unexpected (2015)

OH, MY GOD! My youngest daughter, Alexandria Michele, MAKES ME SICK! UGH! LOL I just happened to watch this movie last night on Netflix and learned that its setting is the Chicago, Illinois Englewood Community and the high school is Lindblom Math and Science Academy, which is where Alexandria graduated from. All of the student extras in the film were ACTUAL LINDBLOM STUDENTS at the time of filming. Alexandria is one of those students who opted out of participating as a student extra and she didn't even tell me about it. I would have had this film plastered all over social media, but, I guess she knew that. Ugh!!!!! The lesson here is, if you want to keep a secret from me, tell my children, I'LL NEVER GET WIND OF IT! TRUST ME!

At any rate, this is a TOP NOTCH FILM! It was an Indie Film that had its world premiere at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival on January 25, 2015.

Casting of the main characters were SOLID and the storyline was AMAZING! The closeness of the teacher/student characters was REAL and the level of INTELLIGENCE of Jasmine, the LMSA high school senior graduating with a 3.8 GPA played by actress Gail Bean, is DEFINITELY indicative of the typical levels of intelligence of Lindblom students! I cannot express enough just how PROUD I am of this movie project. I only wish that I had known about it sooner because I probably would have volunteered to be an extra in it myself, if that was allowed, but, then again, that's probably why Alexandria didn't say anything to me about it because she knew that I would want to be a part of it! I CAN'T STAND HER BIG HEAD SELF! LOL UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS FILM, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, IS A MUST WATCH MOVIE!

Beyond the Lights

Here's another absolutely FANTASTIC movie that I found on Netflix called Beyond the Lights from the writer and director of LOVE & BASKETBALL, Gina Prince-Bythewood, and starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Danny Glover, Minnie Driver, and Nate Parker.

"Romance ignites between a troubled young singer on the cusp of stardom, and a handsome young cop with political ambitions in this drama about the power of walking your own path. Noni Jean (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) is a talented singer whose ethereal voice has taken the world of music by storm. A glimpse beneath the surface, however, reveals a girl who's cracking under the pressure to top the charts. When Noni tries to end it all, concerned cop Kaz Nicol (Nate Parker) pulls her back from the ledge, and shows her that life is still worth living. Along the way, Noni and Kaz fall head over heels in love. Meanwhile, the powers that be conspire to keep them apart as well as focused on their respective careers. But without Kaz's love, Noni may never find her true voice."

Twist of Faith - myLifetime.com

This is NOT a movie about race. It is a movie about IGNORANCE and how ignorance can rear it's ugly head in a person of any color.

The storyline also resembles some elements of the biblical story of JOB!

I initially started watching it because I wanted to hear Toni Braxton sing and she most certainly did NOT disappoint, and I'm not even a huge fan of hers. However, her singing in this film, in my humble opinion, makes many of her secular hits sound overrated, by comparison. Her music in this movie is nothing other than PURE AND ANGELIC!

Overall, I rate this move 5 STARS! The story-line is impeccable and it is sensitive to our current hostile and racially driven climate. However, IT GLORIFIES GOD TO THE HIGHEST! Netflix has done it again! I had never heard of this movie before and I don't follow Toni Braxton enough to have known that she was starring in this film, but, I am overjoyed that I watched it and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, especially to FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST! I can only imagine going through a small portion of the blow dealt out at the beginning of this film and feeling like my FAITH IN GOD is somehow being tested and not understanding why.

1 Corinthians 13:13

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

GNN television journalist Cameron "Buck" Williams reports from Israel about a new technology with which food will grow almost anywhere. He interviews Israeli scientist Chaim Rosenzweig, and praises him for creating a miracle. Suddenly, Arab Mikoyan MiG-29 and Russian fighter jets fly overhead in a surprise air raid. A missile hits near Buck and Chaim as they retreat to a military bunker. The sun disappears even though it is still mid-day. Israel's defenses are unable to counterattack, but the attacking jets start spontaneously exploding and crashing down. Buck runs outside with the news camera and records the drama as some GNN executives and reporters watch back in Chicago. The entire attacking force is destroyed.

The story shifts to pilot Rayford Steele, who has been asked to fly from New York to London at short notice, causing him to miss his son Raymie's birthday party. Despite his wife's and his daughter's protests, he agrees and leaves his family behind. Rayford's daughter, Chloe Steele, is leaving for her college exams. Buck, having decided to go to London for an investigation of the attack, boards Rayford's plane.

On the flight, a flight attendant, Hattie Durham, who is having an affair with Rayford, reveals she's taking a job at the UN and this is her last flight. Later during the flight, some passengers awaken to realize that several of their fellow passengers are missing. Panic sets in, and Buck helps Hattie try to keep the passengers calm. Upon returning to the cockpit, they discover that people (later revealed to be Christians) are mysteriously disappearing worldwide and some planes are down from missing flight crews. He is forced to turn the plane back and land in Chicago. Shortly after landing, Buck locates Rayford and asks him to fly him to New York City. Rayford refuses, saying that he has to be with his family, but says he will find Buck a private pilot, and they both drive to Rayford's home.

Meanwhile, Chloe is driving home from her college exams when she encounters a large traffic accident. She goes to check on a crashed semi, whose driver vanished. People are reporting abandoned cars and children missing from their seats. While Chloe is inspecting the carnage, her car is stolen by a hurt man and she is stranded on the wrecked highway. She eventually starts walking down the highway. Rayford discovers that his wife and son are missing. He and Buck are forced to stay in the house because of a military-enforced curfew. Rayford starts to read his wife's Bible.

Chloe returns home, reunites with her father and discovers Buck sleeping on the couch. After conversing about her missing family, Chloe drives Buck to the airport and goes to look for her younger brother. Buck takes a plane to New York with pilot Ken Ritz. Rayford finds Chloe in an elementary school. He suggests they search the church because that is where his wife and son were most happy. Chloe refuses to go to church, saying that her mother was happiest when Ray was home. After Chloe returns home, Rayford goes to New Hope Village Church and finds Pastor Bruce Barnes. Bruce has also been left behind because he never truly believed in God. A believer at last, he begs for forgiveness and asks God for a second chance to help people. Rayford enters the church and kneels next to Bruce, telling him that God already has used him. They then watch a videotape left by another Reverend Billings dealing with the Rapture, in which all true believers are taken to Heaven, while the rest are left behind to endure the Tribulation—seven years of war and suffering.

When Buck gets to New York City, he finds that his friend Dirk Burton has been killed. While he is there, he takes a computer disc and is almost shot by a sniper. Buck decodes the computer disc and finds out that someone is trying to bankrupt the UN in order to control the world's food supply. Rayford confronts Hattie, telling her that their "affair" was wrong, and that he wants her forgiveness, and she leaves in a huff. Rayford tells Chloe about God and she says she believes. Meanwhile, Buck flies back to Chicago to meet with an old friend, CIA agent Alan Thompkins. After the meeting, Alan is killed in a car bombing, which Buck narrowly escapes. He goes to Rayford's house, because they are the only ones Buck knows in Chicago. Taking the wounded Buck to New Hope Church (as a makeshift hospital), Rayford and Bruce show Buck the tape that Reverend Billings made. Buck, however, does not fully believe the claims, and he goes to warn Chaim about the plot against the UN. Rayford and Chloe attempt to stop him, because he doesn't have God on his side. Buck ignores the Steeles' advice and goes to the UN anyway.

At the UN, Buck sees the plans for the new Israeli temple, and realizes that everything Rayford, Chloe and Bruce told him was true. Before the meeting, Buck finally accepts God and asks Him to show him The Way. God shows him that UN Secretary-General Nicolae Carpathia is the Antichrist when he reveals his plan for world domination, of which his plan to rebuild the temple of Israel is a logical first step. Carpathia shoots Jonathan Stonagal and Joshua Todd-Cothran, who were behind the plot to bankrupt the UN, and then brainwashes the new "kings and queens" (the 10 UN delegates) into thinking that Stonagal shot Cothran and himself. Everyone, even the press, believes Carpathia, except Buck, who leaves and returns to the church, where he resolves to fight Carpathia with the help of his friends. Narrating, Buck says the "seven years of peace" declared by Nicolae will be the seven worst years mankind has ever seen, and that faith is all they need.

Set 18 months after the events of the second movie, an attack is taking place in Washington DC, explosions, and helicopters and machine guns firing. A man runs through a burning White House to the Oval Office. United States President Gerald Fitzhugh (Louis Gossett Jr.) videotapes his confession in the oval office of The White House. Afterwards, he looks out the window as a shadowy figure arrives in the background.

The movie then cuts to one week earlier. The Tribulation Force, consisting of Rayford Steele, his daughter Chloe Steele, Buck Williams, Bruce Barnes, Chris Smith, and several other unnamed people, are in the process of stealing Bibles from a Global Community (GC) compound. The GC bursts into the warehouse and shoots Chris Smith, wounding him, while the remaining Trib Force members escape. The guards ask Chris who he works for to which he replies "The Son of Man," they ask him again and Chris' answer is "God Almighty," at which point the guard executes him.

At Washington, D.C., somewhere at a rural lake, the president and his vice-president, John Mallory, are taking some time away from the White House. On the way back, Mallory informs Fitzhugh of Nicolae's plans and how he has found evidence that Nicolae is planning an attack on American soil. Before he shares the information, a car explodes behind them. Troops storm in attempting to kill the President. A soldier fires a rocket-propelled grenade and Mallory dies from the ambush attack, but a militia group comes to the aid of the President.

Back at the Trib Force underground headquarters, Bruce Barnes performs a double wedding ceremony: Buck to Chloe, and Rayford to Amanda White, the newest member who once knew Rayford's first wife before the vanishings. After the ceremony is over, Buck heads over to D.C. and Rayford flies to New Babylon. Nicolae meets with Fitzhugh, who expresses his deepest concern over the news of Mallory's death, and teams up with Carolyn Miller (Jessica Steen), who poses as Nicolae's top aide at GC headquarters. Together, they find Nicolae's secret plan of stealing Bibles and lacing them with anthrax before distributing them. The GC block their escape, with Fitzhugh killing one of the guards in the process.

Fitzhugh is recruited by Miller's militia group to help take out Nicolae. Along with the Prime Minister of Great Britain and the President of Egypt, they plan an attack on GC forces in their respective countries. Fitzhugh also argues that they must take out Carpathia, which he states he will do personally. Fitzhugh enters the GC building and asks to see the president (it is also revealed that one of the GC guards is really an insider, but is shot by another). Fitzhugh enters Nicolae's office, but Nicolae was already aware of Fitzhugh's assassination attempt and foils it. Fitzhugh tries to shoot Nicolae with three rounds, but he isn't affected as they go through him and hit a guard instead. Nicolae turns on all of the TVs in his office, revealing that World War III has begun, with the GC military attacking British, Egyptian, and American forces. Outside in the background of Nicolae's office, air raid sirens are blaring, explosions rise into the sky, and machine guns and tank blasts are heard. Using supernatural techniques, Nicolae throws Fitzhugh out of a 20-story window, who lands on top of a car. Nicolae goes over to the window to see, in disgust, Fitzhugh getting up and walking away. Nicolae then looks to the sky and says, "That's not humanly possible, is it?" Everyone is shocked when Fitzhugh returns to the militia base and informs them that the plan failed: Carolyn takes this the hardest.

The underground Trib Force HQ is hit as World War III approaches. Bruce and Chloe are infected with the virulent bacteria, but in the end, it is Chloe who survives when red wine, used in the communion they just took part of, is revealed to be the antidote. Buck meets Fitzhugh in a destroyed White House, where he helps the president become a Christian. Fitzhugh then confronts Nicolae, where he activates a personal transmitter (and dials Carolyn's cell phone, where she hears the entire conversation), hoping to obliterate the entire GC headquarters, and himself, with a missile locked onto the transmitter's location. The missile hits the GC building and Fitzhugh is killed in the explosion, as the building collapses and dust flies from the bottom.

Buck Williams then gets a call in the elevator from Chloe as she tells him about the wine and Bruce's death. Buck promises to come home from his trip soon, as the elevator stops and the door opens to reveal an armed Carolyn. She lowers her weapon and Buck states "we need to talk," implying that they had met before. Before the credits, what's left of the Global Community Building is burning down, police sirens are wailing in the background, and explosions are still going on. Nicolae Carpathia walks out from the flames looking very mad, completely unharmed.

It's a week after the rapture and the millions of people who vanished into thin air are still missing. Chaos rules the world as panic and grief-stricken survivors continue to search for their lost loved-ones. Suicide rates are skyrocketing, businesses and homes are being looted, and martial law is in effect. A desperate world looks to the leadership and guidance of UN Secretary General Nicolae Carpathia, the only person offering any answers, hope, and plans to restore peace and order.

While Carpathia has the world's adoration and trust, he is seemingly unaware of a small group of rebels spreading the truth that he is in fact the Antichrist. Buck Williams (Kirk Cameron) is a highly respected television journalist who has seen firsthand Carpathia's manipulative and deadly powers. His position allows him special access to a global audience through the media and to Carpathia himself. Airline pilot Rayford Steele (Brad Johnson) and his 20-year-old daughter, Chloe (Janaya Stephens), make up the rest of this group. Ray is still struggling to come to grips with the loss of his wife and son, but his recent salvation and friendship with Pastor Barnes have brought him back to the church and closer to his feisty daughter. Ivy Gold, Buck's assistant from the first movie, comes into the GNN headquarters, and they go to Buck's apartment so they can work on the story of the vanishings.

As the Tribulation Force struggles to open the eyes of the world to the truth, Global events get even stranger when word leaks out that three men have mysteriously burned to death at one of the holiest sites in Israel: the Western Wall. At the same time, Rabbi Ben Judah, one of the leading religious scholars of his time, plans to make a world-altering announcement based on years of research. Pastor Barnes believes both events are linked to Carpathia, signaling the oncoming terror of The Tribulation. He acts quickly by getting Ray and Buck to embark on a dangerous mission to infiltrate Carpathia's organization. They must get to Ben Judah before he makes his announcement. Buck is going to the Wailing Wall to get the witness on tape, but Steve Plank tries to talk him out of it. Bruce wants Rayford to join Carpathia's staff as the pilot of the new plane that the US government gave to Nicolae. Rayford initially turns down the mission.

Rayford, while grieving about his family, receives a call from Chris (his former co-pilot). He goes to Chris' apartment, and saves Chris' life and soul, because Chris wanted to commit suicide. Rayford then accepts Bruce's mission, to spy on Nicolae. Chloe is concerned for Buck and Rayford, but Buck starts to care for Chloe.

Rayford then heads to Hattie to try and fly the plane. Initially, Hattie is suspicious of Rayford (due to their last confrontation), but Rayford convinces her that he is the right man for the job. Meanwhile, Chloe goes to Bruce and asks about relationships during this time of chaos. She then goes to Buck's apartment where she sees Ivy Gold, Buck's assistant. Ivy blows Chloe off, thinking that she is just some star-struck fan of Buck's. Buck tries to call the Steele's house, but Chloe doesn't want to chat with him. When Rayford finally picks up the phone, he uses a bit of deception to have Buck meet with Chloe. When Buck leaves his apartment, he is taken to the roof of his building where he has a meeting with Nicolae. Buck is granted access to the Wailing Wall, and he goes to meet with Chloe.

Chloe first blows him off, but some deception from Rayford gets them to talk. Buck and Chloe make up and start a relationship. Rayford and Buck then leave for Israel. Meanwhile, Ivy starts to visit Chloe at the church, initially to apologize for her behavior, and then later because she starts to become friends with Chloe and Bruce. Nicolae then ups the security at the Wailing Wall; and, with the help of Steve Plank, they create a "One World" religion. At the airport before leaving for Israel, Buck and Chloe share some time together. Rayford tells Chloe that he will watch over Buck.

On the airplane, Rayford attempts to find some solid evidence about Nicolae. He finds some information on a computer pertaining to Rabbi Ben-Judah. While obtaining the evidence, Nicolae comes in and congratulates Rayford on being the pilot. As Rayford hands Nicolae their ETA, he sees a vision that disturbs him. When on the ground in Israel, Rayford shows the email he downloaded from Nicolae's computer to Buck. They realize that the conversation about Ben-Judah was about the speech he was going to give. Steve and Nicolae changed the speech because Ben-Judah was going to announce Jesus as the Son of God. Instead, because of the new changes, Ben-Judah is going to announce Nicolae as the Messiah. Buck goes to meet Rabbi Tsion Ben-Judah. He asks the Rabbi to come and discredit the witnesses, and prove that Nicolae is the messiah. He agrees. Nicolae puts added security on the wall, and Rayford and Buck pray to God to help the get message out.

They go to the Wailing Wall to meet the two witnesses. Rayford distracts the guards (through God's intervention in the form of an angelic singer) and Buck and Ben-Judah slip through to confront the two men. Ben-Judah chats with the two men and learn about Jesus. They are attacked by UN guards and the two witnesses breathe fire at their attackers and they die. During the broadcast, Nicolae cuts the feed right in the middle of the Ben-Judah/Two Witnesses confrontation. Buck then learns that the broadcast got cut and Ben-Judah ran off. Ivy comes to the church to give Chloe some food, and witnesses Chloe ministering to a severely burned fireman who then passes away. Ivy hugs Chloe, and states that the fireman was at peace. Chloe remarks that he found God.

Nicolae comes to the Temple Mount and speaks to the masses. Rabbi Ben-Judah then comes to the Temple Mount and starts giving his speech. Nicolae, along with his advisors, watch the broadcast. Rayford, in the cockpit, asks the copilot to take over. He then goes out and pulls the fuse to stop Nicolae from ruining the broadcast. Rabbi Ben-Judah then gives his speech about Jesus being the Messiah, and how he needs to be forgiven. Nicolae then orders the broadcast to be cut. In Chicago; Ivy, Chloe, and Bruce are watching, with Ivy crying. When the broadcast is cut, Ivy is stunned, but Chloe leads her to Jesus, with Bruce praying with them.

In Israel, Ben-Judah's announcement leaves the crowd mixed. Buck asks Ben-Judah if he will be ok, Ben-Judah states that Buck helped millions learn the truth. Back in the cockpit of the airplane, Rayford hangs up pictures of his wife and son. He is finally at peace about their disappearing.

Carpathia, filled with rage, tells God that it is his time to rule the Earth. Back in Chicago at the New Hope church, Bruce is leading worship. Ivy, Chris, Rayford, and Chloe are singing a hymn (How Great Thou Art) when Buck enters. Buck hugs everyone as they continue to sing.

AT THE MOVIES with Michele Brock: Comeback Dad (2014)

I just watched this movie on Netflix! Another EXCELLENT movie that I'd never heard of before running across it on Netflix!

Comeback Dad (2014)

Starring Charles S. Dutton, Tatyana Ali, Loretta Devine, and Brad James

It's a story about being broken, tore up from the floor up, but, how through it all, LOVE PREVAILS.

1 Corinthians 13:11-13
New King James Version (NKJV)

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
